Huge thanks to Laurena Brumpton for making and selling her ‘greyt’ knitted wares, which raised £36 for the hounds!

Thanks to everyone who supported us for the Great Global Greyhound Walk recently at Preston Park and especially to our brilliant photographers: Joanne Leach (of Joanne Leach Pet Portraits) and Paul Wastell.

And special thanks to Gary, Doreen, John, Jackie, Les, Mel, Julie, Ali, Jo, Ann, Mike, Blaze, Frank, Hardy, Raven, Nadia, Swift, Dottie, Lydia, Belle, Jane and Bella too.

We had 79 sighthounds walking, celebrating greyhounds as pets. This included 32 greyhounds, 40 sighthounds and 7 hounds looking for homes.

Together we were part of a worldwide phenomenon that saw 10,620 sighthounds walked across the globe in 29 countries!

Please keep your fingers and paws crossed for our little lurcher girl Sophie (was Gypsy). She came to us with a large mammary tumour which has now been removed and sent off to labs so we know what it is.

A big thank you to Miss Maggie’s Supper Box for the generous donation towards Sophie’s vet bill, which is really appreciated.

We had a very generous donation of £225 plus £40 in vouchers when one of our lovely supporters recently got married.

As you can see a ‘greyt’ day was had by all. A huge thank you to Diane and her new hubby from all the hounds at GRACE.

Our lovely friend Karin Pattinson and her daughter Hayley Pickthall recently completed a 110 mile walk to commemorate the life and times of their beloved whippet Flash. These dedicated ladies raised hundreds of pounds for GRACE – see their post below. Thank you both so, so much.

If you have supported any of our fundraising activities, you’ll probably be familiar with two of our ‘greyt’ volunteers Julie and Doreen.

The dynamic duo were out and about again recently at a Family Fun Day, where they raised £93.10.

This brought the total raised by Doreen and our GRACE supporters to over £300 that particular week, broken down as follows:
