Bethany is 4 years old and a lovely white and black greyhound girl. Unfortunately she sustained an injury whilst in the paddock which resulted in her needing a skin graft. This is healing well and does not affect her at all. Bethany would suit an experienced sighthound home as she is 'keen.' She is not cat friendly and is just in from kennels, so is learning about other breeds of dogs. Please contact us if you can offer Bethany a home.
Bella is a 4 year old brindle girl who is currently still in kennels as we don't have a foster home available. Bella is a friendly girl just waiting for a family to love.
This gorgeous girl is new to us and is named Seren (which is Welsh for Star!) She is 5 years old, full of life and would suit a more active home.
New boy Lucas is 3 years old who's still very shy. He needs a calm home, preferably with older children. Lucas is a gentle soul and he just needs patience and time.
Like her namesake town in Italy, Florence is absolutely stunning. And like the artworks this city is famous for, she is desperately hoping to experience her own renaissance as a family pet after four years of racing and living in kennels. Florence is extremely friendly and loves to sit on your lap for cuddles. She has a very playful nature and would be suitable to live in a home with people who would be happy to play with her and give her the attention she deserves. She would benefit from continued training to ensure a confident recall. Florence isn't cat friendly.
Gem is a lovely 6 year old black girl, who has recently arrived with us. She will be thoroughly assessed and rehabilitated before going to any potential forever home.
Spice is a 4 year old blue girl, who has just arrived with us. She will be thoroughly assessed and rehabilitated before going to any potential new home.
Matilda is as gentle as they come, with soulful eyes that tell the story of her difficult past. In her former life she was used for racing and for breeding, but she now deserves a future that will show her the kinder side of life. This beautiful six year old girl has a lot of love to give and wants nothing more than a warm sofa to stretch out on and plenty of cuddles. While quiet and placid in nature, Matilda is incredibly affectionate. She has an endearing habit of gently nuzzling your hand and looking at you with those irresistible eyes if you dare to stop stroking her. If you could find the space on your sofa and in your heart to give this special girl a loving home, she will return the favour every time you look at her. Matilda isn’t cat friendly and will need careful introductions to small dogs.
Beautiful Sky is a 7 year old rough coated lurcher and is still looking for a special forever home to call her own. She came to us originally when her owner sadly passed away. Sky isn’t cat friendly and can be 'shouty' to other dogs if you let her. She is house trained and walks very well on her lead and doesn’t pull.
Rosie is six years old. She is not cat friendly or good with small dogs so she would suit a home as an only dog or with larger breeds. She is currently living with a foster family who have two Border Collies.
Honey is a confident and cheeky four year old girl who will make a fantastic pet after some basic training to remind her of the importance of good manners. She has only ever known racing but is adapting to life in a home for the first time, albeit with a few hiccups along the way. With the right owner and perhaps a male doggy companion (she prefers the boys), Honey would blossom into a loyal and affectionate pet, and her cheekiness would make her a constant source of amusement. Honey isn't cat friendly.
This handsome lad is Scar and he's a 6 year old greyhound boy. We are looking for a special home for Scar as he gets a bit possessive over his food bowl. He needs an understanding adopter with no young children who may want to put their fingers in his bowl. Scar has lived in kennels with a greyhound girl, so could be rehomed with a female greyhound or similar size. If you feel you have the experience to offer this handsome lad a home please get in touch.
With that gorgeous face and the name Hope, we are keeping everything crossed that it won't be long before this beautiful girl finds a forever home she can call her own.
Shadow is a handsome 5 year old boy. He loves being around people, however he isn’t cat friendly. Shadow is in a foster home and is loving life in a home environment. He is learning to walk well on the lead and attends dog club for socialisation. Shadow could live with another large female dog or a female greyhound. He’s a really affectionate boy and will make someone a fantastic companion.
We’ve been asked to share Miley on our page. She’s 5 years old and a loving girl that craves human attention and love. Miley loves long walks and would be suited to an active family with older or no children as she’s a little jumpy. She is good with other dogs and she’s spayed and chipped.
Finn is a 3 year old brindle boy, who is currently being looked after by one of our fabulous G.R.A.C.E volunteer foster families who are getting to know his personality. He is a very confident young man and is learning what it is like to live in a home environment. Finn is great with other dogs, but not cats. He enjoys his walks and playing.
Jude is a 14 month old boy who recently underwent an amputation. Greyhounds do well on three legs. Jude is only young and is already adapting well to life as a tripaw. Jude will need a very special home once he has healed. He’s a lovely, happy boy.
**Still in kennels until we can secure a foster home** Pearl is a 4 year old petite greyhound girl. She can be boisterous and has a strong prey drive so she will need a sighthound experienced home. Pearl will need to be muzzled on walks. She could possibly live in a home with dog savvy teens, but no small children. She is also small dog trainable. Pearl can be a little timid with strangers, but once she knows you she loves a good fuss.
**Still in kennels until we can secure a foster home**Abbi is a 6 year old laid back girl. She absolutely loves attention and loves her cuddles. When she’s not getting cuddles she never moves from her bed. She could go to a home with older children and is small dog trainable.
**Still in kennels until we can secure a foster home** Flyer is an 8 year old lively girl. She is friendly but doesn’t crave attention. She is good with other dogs, but doesn’t like to share so we think she would be best suited as an only dog. She will need an experienced home without young children.
Apache is 7 years old and a big softie. He can play nip when excited though so would not recommend that he lived with small children. Apache is small dog trainable. He had a toe amputated a while back, but this doesn’t affect him at all. He is a big friendly boy who loves his food.
**Still in kennels until we can secure a foster home** Handsome Winny is a 7 year old boy. He is extremely friendly and behaves more like a lab than a greyhound! He is great with other greyhounds, but a bit wary of other breeds - this could be workable though. We would not recommend that he lived with small children due to his enthusiastic nature.
After an anxious start, Sam (aged 3 and a half) has quickly settled into life as a pet and enjoys company, but will settle and sleep when left alone. He gets on well with other dogs when he has been properly introduced, but hasn't been cat tested and is unsure around young children. He's very affectionate, likes cuddles and to play. His recall is good in a securely fenced area and he walks well on the lead. Sam is a lovely boy and will be a great companion.
**Still in kennels until we can secure a foster home** Tiny is two years old and is a very friendly girl. She is only small, hence her name! She can be quite boisterous so would need a more active home. Tiny isn't small dog tested but gets on well with other greyhounds. She could possibly be homed with dog-savvy older children.
Two year old Rioga, or Rio for short, is a lively and very friendly girl. She isn't small dog tested, but she generally doesn't get on well with other dogs (she won't share her sleeping space and is possessive over food with other dogs). We would therefore recommend that she is an only dog. She is brilliant with people and could possibly live with dog-savvy older children.
We rescued beautiful Joy from terrible circumstances - you can read about her (one of the emaciated hounds) on our news and Facebook pages. Joy has thrived in the care of our G.R.A.C.E volunteers and is now ready for her forever home. She is only two years old and is a very special girl. Joy would love to be an only dog or could live with another dog in the right circumstances. She is not cat or 'small furry friendly'. As Joy is still young, an active family would suit her, with children over 10 as she can be excitable.
Daisy is a lovely 5+ year old girl. She is currently fostered with other dogs. She is learning the ropes. Daisy will soon be neutered and once assessed will be ready to move into a new home. Please contact us if you are interested in offering this beautiful girl a forever home.
