Charlie (Charlotte) is patiently waiting for her forever home. Charlie would like an active home as she can be a giddy girl at times. She can live with another large dog or as an only dog. Charlie is not cat friendly. Charlie is currently in foster care and is doing well with her rehabilitation into home life. Charlie loves her food and toys and is a happy girl. Please welcome (left to right) Sophia, Athena and Dennis who have just arrived to the G.R.A.C.E family. All three are looking for foster or forever homes. We will share more information about them once we have got to know their personalities. Tiger Lily is back with us looking for her forever home. Tiger Lily is a 7 year old dark brindle girl who has been living with other dogs and children. As she's an older lady, we feel she would benefit from being an only dog so that she gets all of the attention. Tiger Lily is spayed but needs to have a dental as her teeth unfortunately aren't great. As with all our dogs, a home check and adoption donation apply. New to GRACE, gorgeous girl Emily will be assessed in our care. We will add more details about her once we get to know her personality. New to GRACE, gorgeous brindle girl Blankit will be assessed in our care. We will add more details about her once we get to know her personality. Say hello to new blue boy Luke. He has just been picked up from kennels, along with Skipper (below), so will be assessed as to what type of home he would like. Luke and Skipper will be at our Meet and Greet at Locke Park, Redcar on Saturday 3rd June (12.00 noon until 3.00pm) if you would like to say hello- please see our event page for more details Say hello to new brindle boy Skipper. He has just been picked up from kennels, along with Luke (above), so will be assessed as to what type of home he would like. Skipper and Luke will be at our Meet and Greet at Locke Park, Redcar on Saturday 3rd June (12.00 noon until 3.00pm) if you would like to say hello- please see our event page for more details. This is Doc. He is almost 6 and has waited two years to come to GRACE. Doc loves people and other greyhounds, but needs time to get used to other breeds of dog. Doc is a lovely affectionate boy who could live with another large dog, or as only dog. He is not cat friendly. Doc is rather bouncy meeting new people, so older children, rather than living with little ones, would be ideal for him. Please welcome Ruby, a 5 year old beautiful black and white girl. Ruby has a sensitive nature and because of this would suit a quieter home without small children. Once Ruby gets to know you, she is very loving and caring. Ruby can live as an only dog or with another dog with a similar outlook on life (spending time on the sofa!) Ruby has been around small dogs and has met them happily, but like most greyhounds, we think she would prefer a larger dog as a companion. If you would like to meet Ruby, please get in touch with us on 07840 771583. Meet Ronnie, a handsome deerhound X, who has been waiting for a while for his foster or forever home. He is such a lovely boy, who is 7 but thinks he is 2. Please contact us for further information if you have room on your sofa for this cuddly boy. Can you offer Orla a forever home? Orla is a 2 year old lurcher (probably whippet x staffi) who had a terrible start to her life. Orla was confined to a crate in a kitchen and received no socialising at all. Find out more about Orla on the news section of our website. She really does deserve a forever home to call her own. Please say hello to our new boy Jools. He's a 5 year old brindle lad who is very shy. He's not ready to be rehomed yet, but he just wanted to say hello to everyone. Jools will need a quiet home with no children. Tommy is a larger than life 4 year old blue boy, who is looking for a second chance at his forever home due to incompatibility with their child. Tommy is a big lad approximately 34" to the shoulder and as tall as an adult on his hind legs. Tommy is looking for an experienced greyhound home, and he could possibly live with a female greyhound. Preferably an adult only home, but we will possibly consider a home with dog savvy older teenagers. We want this to be Tommy's last home,so please think carefully before asking to meet him. Fleur is a 5 year old greyhound girl who is returning to our care due to a change in circumstances. Fleur has lived as an only dog and with other dogs. Fleur gets on well with dogs and people including children and has been used to an active lifestyle. Fleur is currently in North Yorkshire and will be rehomed directly from her current home. A home check and donation apply. Welcome Nancy, a 2 year old fawn girl, who will soon be joining the GRACE family. Nancy is great with people and children, is good with other hounds, but will need socialising around small dogs as she hasn't seen many. Here's our Logan, a 3 year old brindle boy, who has been settling in well in foster as an only dog. Logan gets on with humans and dogs alike. He can be left for a few hours and is a lovely playful boy. Please welcome Jane who has been with us a few weeks now. She has settled really well into foster as an only dog, so could live as an only dog, or with other dogs. Jane is a very chilled girl who is 4 years old. Please welcome Lizzie our new lurcher pup. Lizzie has been with us a few weeks, but was exceptionally emaciated so wasn't ready to look for her forever home. Lizzie has now been vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed when she has gained enough weight. Lizzie is dog and cat friendly. She will need another dog to live with and being a puppy someone who is around a lot of the time. Lizzie can be left for a few hours. Lizzie is currently in foster with other hounds and progressing well with socialising and house training. Preference given to north east homes due to her young age. Please contact us for further information. Dottie is a 2 year old girl. Until 3 months ago she was living in a field in Ireland with her brothers and sisters. We were lucky to rescue Dottie and her sister Lyra who is now adopted. Dottie is currently in foster care, where she is learning about the big wide world and home comforts. Dottie gets on well with other hounds and will probably need another hound for company. Dottie is getting there with house training and learning to go for walks, but will need a bit of continued training. Dottie is a giddy girl, full of fun and mischief, so would suit a busy household. We would suggest that she is rehomed with children over 10 years old, as she does get excited and could accidently knock little ones over. Dottie is spayed and will come to her forever home with everything she needs to start her new life. Home check and an adoption donation apply. Meet new boy Mason, who is recovering well from his recent op. Mason is a 2 year old greyhound boy, just recovering from his neuter, which unfortunately was more complicated as he had a retained testicle. He's on pain relief and recovering well. He had found the sofa, but has somehow managed a monumental bed fail with this one! He climbed on top of the sofa and is sleeping on the towels in the conservatory. Welcome to new boy Swift. He will be thoroughly assessed in our care to establish what type of home he is looking for. Swift is a 3 year old boy who is settling in well with the other GRACE hounds. Roddy is still waiting for his forever home. Roddy needs an experienced greyhound home, no children, preferably as an only dog, although applications will be considered if you have a female greyhound who he could live with. Roddy is a very strong lad, has a high prey drive so requires ongoing training. Roddy has been with us 6 months, and still waiting. Sara our lovely black greyhound girl who is 3 years old. Sara is currently in foster on her own and could live as an only dog if you are around a lot of the time. Sara is great with other dogs of all sizes. Sara is a very happy affectionate girl who loves attention and would be a great addition to a family with children 10 years and over. Welcome new girl Flame who is 3 years old. Flame is quite a lively girl and has a great sense of humour. She will steal objects and run around the house with them! Flame could live as an only dog or with a similar dog. Harry is a 2 year old brindle boy who has just come into our rescue. He's still a bit shy, but is getting used to living in a home. He's a lovely sensitive boy who would suit a quiet home, probably with another dog. I would suggest he would prefer an adult only home. Say a big hello to Cooper, who is an 8 month old whippet X Saluki. He is looking for a home as an only pet. Cooper is currently living with children, so a home with children over 10 will be considered. Cooper is looking for a home who have sighthound experience and are prepared to continue with the training that his current owner has begun. Cooper is looking for a home in the North East of England. Due to his age, he will need someone at home during the day or who is prepared to arrange dog sitting or supervision. Cooper is a clever young boy who needs a home to bring out the best in his lovely nature. Here's another beautiful girl looking for a new home. Bella is 6 and she's a Deerhound X so is not a small girl. Bella is a shy girl who prefers the company of ladies at the moment, but we are sure she would adapt and trust a caring dad given time. Bella has not lived in a house, so would need time and patience while she adjusts to a life in a home. Bella gets on great with other dogs, but isn't cat or small furry animal friendly. Preference given to homes in the North East of England, but may go further afield if a more experienced home is further away. Here's our beautiful Katie. She's 4 years old and has been with us a while now as she has been recovering from a broken wrist. Katie has been in a foster as an only dog, but she would prefer to have another dog around. Katie is a lovely girl who enjoys playing with her toys, doing zoomies in the house and garden as she's quite bored now. Katie will need to slowly increase her exercise, but apart from that is ready to begin her new life in her forever home. Meet Betty, who is currently in foster with GRACE volunteer Doreen. Betty is looking for her forever home. She is a lovely girl and will make a lovely companion to someone. She is currently living with Doreen's greyhound boy Max, so would suit a household with a large male dog, or could be an only dog if someone is around most of the time. Betty is very loving and loves cuddles and gives out kisses all the time. She isn’t cat or small furry friendly. Betty is good on the lead and doesn’t react when we meet other dogs. Betty is described as a pleasure to foster and she can’t wait to find her forever home. Saluki boy Pip is still waiting for the right home. He loves Sighthounds but can be reactive on the lead around other dogs. Pip is still a pup and is quick to learn. He needs an experienced home to continue his training. Welcome new boy Bradley who arrived with GRACE in June. Bradley is 2 years old and settling in well. Bradley will be assessed thoroughly to establish what type of home he is looking for. Bradley is a tall boy so if you are looking for a whippet he's not for you. Bradley is a bit shy at the moment but will come round - although it didn't take him long to find the sofa! Natasha is a GRACE sponsor dog, which means she will remain with her foster carers for the rest of her life, with GRACE support. If you would like to contribute towards looking after Natasha by making a donation towards her veterinary care, food or treats please get in touch with us., please contact Tracy on 07840 771583. Welcome Rufus to the GRACE family. This 17 month old boy came to GRACE due to a change in his owners circumstances. Due to his age Rufus will need a home with older children as he is only a puppy. Rufus will benefit from additional and ongoing training. Sighthound experienced homes only please. Not cat friendly and will need careful introduction to small dogs. Home checks and adoption donation apply. Here's Jess a new arrival to the GRACE family. Jess is a happy fun loving girl who is currently being assessed. She is good with large dogs but hasn't seen small dogs. It's unlikely she will be cat friendly. Welcome Sam, a 2 year old young boy. Sam is a happy friendly boy who is a bit of a practical joker. He enjoys letting himself out of his kennel and learning other new tricks. Sam is good around large dogs and doesn't seem concerned when out for a walk around small dogs. Sam has not been cat tested as he's currently still in kennels. Sam is looking for a home who will bring out his full potential, but also keep him entertained to prevent his door opening exploits! Bingo is a 6 year old boy, who is very calm and gentle, with such a lovely temperament. He's generally very lazy, but does have a playful side to him. He loves the company of other greyhounds, but hasn't been tested with other breeds. He's not cat friendly. Welcome Dash a very handsome lad, who is 4 years old. Dash can live as an only dog or with another large dog. Dash is not small dog tested yet as he's still in kennels waiting for a foster home. Dash is a quiet lad who would suit living with an older couple. Still waiting in kennels is this shy boy, General Jack. He's a very quiet shy boy who needs an adult only home without young children visiting regularly until he gains some confidence. Jack could live with another large dog, or as an only dog. Jack needs a home who are prepared to give him time to settle in and gain in confidence. Say hello to Manny, who will soon be joining the GRACE family. Manny is a 3 year old boy. Once in foster care, he will be thoroughly assessed as to what home will suit him. Charlie is a GRACE sponsor dog, which means he will remain with his foster carers for the rest of his life, with GRACE support. If you would like to contribute towards looking after Charlie by making a donation towards his veterinary care, food or treats please get in touch with us. Edward is a white and brindle boy who is nearly 3 years old. More details to follow as he is still with his trainer. Connie is a 4 year old fawn girl. More details to follow as she is still with her trainer. Handsome Captain Tom is a beautiful 6 year old black boy, who is currently being fostered by one of our GRACE foster families. New boy Bolt is 4 years old. He is still with his trainer, so has not arrived with GRACE yet. We will need to get to know his personality, but don't think he would be good with small dogs. Grace is a GRACE sponsor dog, which means she will remain with her foster carers for the rest of her life, with GRACE support. If you would like to contribute towards looking after Grace by making a donation towards her veterinary care, food or treats please get in touch with us. This handsome chap is Elliott, a gorgeous 4 year old handsome black boy. Elliott is great with large dogs and getting used to smaller dogs. Elliott is currently being looked after by one of our GRACE foster families. He is living with them as an only dog, so does not need another dog for company. Can you offer Elliott his perfect home? He's been waiting over 6 months. Pilot is a 5 year old black greyhound boy. We are waiting for him to come into us as he is still with his trainer. Devlins boy is a 2 year old black greyhound boy. He is good with large dogs, but not yet tested with small dogs or cats as he is still with his trainer. Sian is a GRACE sponsor dog, which means he will remain with his foster carers for the rest of his life, with GRACE support. If you would like to contribute towards looking after Sian by making a donation towards his veterinary care, food or treats please get in touch with us. Rosie is six years old. She is not cat friendly or good with small dogs so she would suit a home as an only dog or with larger breeds. She is currently living with a foster family who have two Border Collies. This handsome lad is Scar and he's a 6 year old greyhound boy. He has not arrived with GRACE yet, as he is still with his trainer, so we will need to get to know his personality. We believe we will be looking for a special home for Scar as he gets a bit possessive over his food bowl. He needs an understanding adopter with no young children who may want to put their fingers in his bowl. Scar has lived in kennels with a greyhound girl, so could be rehomed with a female greyhound or similar size. If you feel you might have the experience to offer this handsome lad a home please get in touch.Charlotte (Charlie)
